No Moon Day Effect...

Readers please don't get carried away by the title considering it be of an astronomy genre, but its completely different from all the guesses which comes across your mind. I hope that everyone is aware of the "Full Moon Day" effect which changes a human into a ware wolf. Same as that here its not about Full Moon Effect but of No Moon Effect faced by an interesting character whom i met few years back.

First day of college when we were busy getting ready, a spectacles boy with Red Checked Shirt entered the hostel, the boy who played a very important part in shaping my life too :) And this is the boy who is expected by all to receive the Gold Medal in the University Exams but fondly referred to as "Ammavasai" by us. Bit funny name na, anyway you would have now come out with the meaning of this post's title. He is Mr. Sreenivas, Assistant Software Engineer, TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICE, Chennai. A nice and kind boy that you hardly find him get tensed, unless you keep taunting him he gets tensed easily :) Anyway all those moments were so bitter then but now recalling those moments naturally brings smile on my face.

Wait wait i haven't yet told why we used to call him as Ammavasai. I hope everyone would know the character Remus Lupin, Harry Potter's 3rd year Defense Against Dark Arts Teacher. During every new moon eve he gets transformed into a WareWolf, similarly on all Ammavasai eve Sreeni used to show a bit of Psychic behaviour. That is how he earned the name.

Actually we didn't mean to hurt him in any sense but actually many a times we tried correcting him from that behavior but alas we failed. Since after college everyone went away from others we couldn't know if he still continues with the problem. Hope he changes soon :)

This was one such eve during which he was in the peak.

The Life Turner...

Everyone will face a time when unexpectedly without their realization would be facing a complete change over, a change that would take their path of life to a new stream, a new dimension.

It's hardly predictable since we don't know whats gone happen the following minute. Everything is a mystery and full of adventure.

Isn't it bit a philosophical talk, hmm may be. I am not a philosopher though but an young, challenging youth who too had experienced an changeover a few years back.

It happened back in college during my 1st year. A moderately built, well knowledge, spectacle guy who would be mostly found with his laptop in hostel. He is the one who changed my life entirely and is the one who is still supporting me in every aspects. Its none other than Senior Under Officer Balakumar, my senior both in college and at NCC. Once the most hatred word (NCC) in my dictionary became the most liked word and my life changing word. If i hadn't met him i don't know if i could have ever survived in the College for the entire term.

Each and every move of his was inspired by me. He motivated me on and off NCC. Since we became much closer he even started sharing his deep secrets and mostly sought my help during any problem. Once he graduated out of College, i started using the same method of training my juniors as how he did to us. One can learn the meaning of "Leadership" seeing him.

I crossed through each and every barrier, reached the stage of job seeking and once again i found him guiding me well which landed me at good position. Thinking back of all those past events, it wouldn't have been right path for me if he hadn't shown the way.

So after a great fight for survival in this competitive world i stand before you head high as Cadet Warrant Officer Manojkrishna. You surely deserve a salute anna.

The Beginning..

Life is the greatest teacher which keeps imparting us with a variety of experience and information which we were seldom aware of, instead what we do is nothing but to simply ignore those lessons that it tries us to understand and taste it, though certain event turns out to be a bit bitter. However the human mind is programmed in such a way that we accept only those situations that fall under our comfort zone and sporadically venture towards those which may actually challenge us. Since childhood we had been well pampered that taking up challenges is itself becoming a great challenge these days. And if we do face a trail of such challenges, what we do, is just to bleat upon the same "life" for being too rough on us.

It is what everyone does and no one can deny of this fact, though there are few who had actually set free of them self and landed into the dirty mud to reach any milestone. So life had been always providing us with new chapters to read about and those who succeed in reading and understanding it completely move ahead, while those who can not wind up the task end up hanging in an awkward position in the mighty forests of Kodaikanal (Suicide Point).

After struggling very hard for almost 20 odd years now, somehow i ended up earning a degree to trail behind my name which is very essential these days (An essential criteria for marriage).

It might look bit crazy, but that is the current situation and even some do not get a girl with that degree. Guess what, these days the expectations of the family seeking a groom is always on a high scale. Families looking out for a good groom to their daughter have the following criteria based on which the innocent boys are being filtered out.

        1) The groom should have at least a Post Graduate degree.(Too hard for us)
        2) He should be residing in some distant land nothing within the country
        3) The salary
        4) The character

Oh god!!! so i still have got 2 years of Post Graduation to take up in order to satisfy one of the above mentioned criteria. One good thing is that, I do not have to think about it much currently as i can focus entirely on the job that i will be taking up in days to come.

Just days back "life" ended its decades long lecture about "Schooling's/College" and now it has come up with the new subject to teach me. Oh no!!! not again the same teacher. At times i used to think if ever it would find a place to rest, and i found out that it finally dozes off with your last breath. It is a very long journey to hold upon across decades.

All these years it was of course making each and every day hard but instead it was actually preparing me to face the real battle out in the streets. Meaning, how to face the real world that functions outside the books. Knowledge imparted through books were just to give us a head start. Learn from the books, imply it at the right situation in case you face one.

So all these 20 years of theoretical knowledge on courage, self belief, discipline, decision making, success, failures, pains, etc has helped me or in other terms, molded me to take up a serious role in the future.

Right now i am at the starting grid and ahead of me is the target upon which the knowledge acquired would be practically tested, in all possible ways. Face each situation and learn from it. It may directly or indirectly try to implant something within you, that would always come handy, any point in time that you live.

It is just "The Beginning", so lots more to come...

Just waiting for the "Go Ahead" signal :)
